Tip of the Month:
Race Glaze® Gloss Highlighter After Car Wash

A customer passed on a tip to me, which I have found to be very useful. When drying your vehicle after washing it, remove the majority of the water with a chamois (like a Hydra Wipe), or a squeegee. Then before going back over it to remove the balance of the water, mist a small amount of Race Glaze® Gloss Highlighter on the surface (do a small section at a time - hood, door, window, etc.). Spread the Gloss Highlighter with a soft & clean terry cloth towel, and then buff the surface with the dry side of the towel (or a 2nd towel). In this way you are drying the vehicle, and applying a fresh coat of Gloss Highlighter, at the same time. I've been doing this after most washes - it works very nicely.

If you haven't tried Gloss Highlighter yet, you are missing out on a very exciting product. Gloss Highlighter is quite different from other "spray and wipe" quick-detail type of products. Besides leaving the surface very shiny, and increasing the cloth glide, it actually increases UV protection, fills in very fine scratches temporarily, lasts through multiple washes (4-6 or more), and sheds water extremely well. This is a very unique product, that gives excellent results on painted surfaces, chrome, plastic, glass, vinyl, rubber, and trim surfaces. One bottle will do 8-10 full sized vehicles, when used as directed. It will not scratch, streak, or smear, on any color, in any weather condition. Contains no abrasives, silicone, solvents, oils, or waxes. May be used as often as desired, with no harm to surface.
