We realize there are many car care products on the market,
and many web sites at which to purchase them. You came to our site because you
were referred here by one of our existing customers, or perhaps you just found us
through a search. Whatever the reason, we will do everything to earn your trust,
and we hope you will feel that you were treated properly, and will recommend us

We have been distributing Race Glaze® products since 1986. In this time we have
sold the products at over 400 car shows, called on many body shops to introduce
them to the products, and conducted clinics/seminars on the capabilities and
proper use of the six Race Glaze® products.
We presented and sold Race Glaze® on QVC in 1994, when there were only
three products (there are now six liquid products).
We are one of less than five, Factory Distributors for Race Glaze®.
This means we purchase direct from the factory, and that they have confidence
in our knowledge of the products, and the way we treat customers - prospective,
as well as existing.

* Preventing/Correcting an "Empty Cart" problem:
Several users have reported a problem placing orders.
The symptom: You place an item in the shopping cart, go back to order
additional items, and an error message appears, stating that the "Cart Is Empty".
After investigating with the company who hosts our site, we determined this is
caused by having "cookies" set OFF. The shopping cart program needs to be able
to leave a cookie on your computer.
The purpose of this cookie, is to preserve your order information,
in case you choose to leave the site without completing the order.
It is NOT in any way used to track usage, or gather personal information.
There are several levels of privacy related to cookies and web sites.
For an explanation of cookies, and how to set them so the shopping cart will
work properly on your computer, please click here X   
Note: It is fairly easy to set your "cookies" settings to permit specific
web sites (such as ours) to leave a cookie, and yet retain the level of privacy
you would like - to prevent other sites from leaving one or more cookies on
your computer. With  Internet Explorer, this is done by selecting "Tools",
then "Privacy", and then "Edit". You can then select the "edit" option to list
the web site(s) at which you will accept cookie(s). 
You can also choose a setting that applies to each site that you visit.
This is done by selecting "Tools", "Internet Options", "Privacy",
and then "Default". Next, move the "slider" to any option lower than

*Update 5/26/03: We have just learned that Windows/XP users may experience
this problem even with cookies set properly. The company that our web site is
hosted with, has suggested that we "open a new window" for the
"Shopping Cart". They say that a "frames" environment can sometimes
cause the type of error some of our customers have reported.
So now when you go to our "Shop", a new window is opened (sorry, but you
will have to "maximize" it).
*Update 6/1/03: We believe the above problem for Windows/XP users has been
corrected. We've had several XP volunteers place test orders,
and they reported no problems.

We started our business in 1986, selling Race Glaze® Polish & Sealant at local car shows.
Initially it was a bit of an uphill battle - not many people had ever heard of Race Glaze®.
We were convinced of the product quality, so we stuck with it, slowly building a
customer base. As more people began to use the polish, and tell their friends about
how impressed they were with it, we were slowly able to convince some local auto parts
stores to stock it for their retail customers. We introduced many body shops to the product,
which then also helped us market it through auto body supply stores.
Over the years, the Race Glaze® line has grown to six (6) liquid products,
all of the same high quality as the original product.
In 1992 this became a full time business for us - We branched out to larger geographic areas
within the NorthEast states. Along the way, we have added other high quality products,
that meet our standards - if we are to sell products to other people, we have to be impressed
enough with the way they perform, that we will use them ourselves - on an ongoing basis.
We hope that you'll try more than one of our offerings, and that you'll tell your friends and
relatives about us. We work real hard to make our customers happy with our customer service
