The entire team has put in a tremendous amount of work to win those metals, and achieve the recognition they deserve. I had just returned home from a day of drag racing that netted me a trophy, and was greeted by our 6 year old daughter, Joy. As can be seen in this picture, she was very happy that Daddy won a trophy that day. I raced this Mustang for only 2 years, because I realized that I was missing a lot, by leaving my wife and 2 young children, to go off and drag race on Sundays. So I sold the race car, and used the money to buy a swimming pool, that we could all enjoy. It is especially meaningful to use Joy's picture this month, because she just blessed us with our third grandchild, and named him Brendan Warner Rafferty. I was very touched  that she chose her maiden name for Brendan's middle name. Joy has grown up to be a wonderful woman, and a great mother to her three children. Next month, I'll feature another one of my former cars, with our son, Rick. He is also into cars, just like me.
